'' god is in the rain, '' you said to me in the raging storm.i won't ever forget.

sights set on windows, forlorn,
presume the image of ships asea.
blinded by curtains of imposed,
contrived righteousness, forget
colours were named by you and me

sirens sail songs on breezes with
scents of jasmine
drown doubt with brevity, promise
sublimated desires and the quenching
of undiscovered carnal thirsts.
sigh, heave under decrepit waves,
rusting oars break lose from canoes,
drift a moment and sink endlessly,
disappear out of sight; expunged
out ofmind, but never realised.

the ocean, within arrogant palms
shrinks towards oblivion, stinks
of obnoxious breaths, failing hearts
and shallower depths; directionless,
notionless, assumptively drifting.
